Preparedness Course - three classes, Thursdays, June 5th thru 19th, 2-3:30pm. Des Moines Activity Center, Open to all adults. Register today $12. These classes are taught by the American Red Cross of King and Kitsap Counties. Come learn how to become prepared, what to do, and where to go in the event of an emergency situation. If you attend all 3 classes you will receive an individual emergency kit, flashlight and radio. |
A A classroom-only safe driving course offered by AARP. You must attend the full day to receive a certificate, which may entitle you to a auto insurance discount. If you are a senior, chances are you are quite worried about crime. The key is preparation. To assist you in making yourself safe, the Des Moines Police Department will be holding monthly safety seminars at the Des Moines Activity Center.
