What is Business Watch? Business watch is a program design to enhance security, increase observation and to encourage mutual assistance and concern among Des Moines businesses. What is the Objective of Business Watch? " Establish two -way communications between businesses and the police. " Train the business community on crime prevention techniques. " Encourage business to watch out for one another. How to Get Involved Our crime prevention unit is ready to get you started with Business Watch. All you need to do is notify us of your willingness to participate by calling (206) 870-7619 or emailing tseaberry@desmoineswa.gov and we will send you a registration packet. Once registered when the police department has information on criminal activity, we will send out a fax or email alert to notify you. We will also host quarterly training on topics of interest to you as business community members. The Des Moines Police Department can not guarantee total protection from crime. This program and the information provided is intended to reduce your chances of being a victim. |
